Every Summer San Lorenzo has a huge company get together.
The task of planning the party usually falls on my boss so this year it fell to
me. We had a small budget and the owner wanted us to take a Catamaran Boat out
for a couple hours. My boss and I visited harbors daily to try to find the
perfect boat for the company gets together. However, our budget was extremely
tight and we had a very difficult time finding one.
Finally we found a great Catamaran and we got them to go
down to our budget by offering a Social Media trade. Our social media platforms
have lots of followers so we told them we would promote their boat on our pages
and we would also carry their flyers in our stores. The boat party was such a
great time. Most of the girls from the four Oahu stores, as well as the
corporate office and online office were in attendance. We all wore our San
Lorenzo Bikinis and took tons of pictures. We also anchored the boat in the
middle of the ocean and went snorkeling. It was a great day and a great way to
see everyone outside of work. I was lucky that we were able to plan it when I was still in Hawaii it was so awesome to be part of such a great team.
