This week at Nicole Miller was all about tying up loose ends as we moved out of June and into July. We worked on changing the windows to reflect our American pride during the World Cups games as well as for the 4th of July! We also have been receiving a lot of new styles and options for our store as we are getting closer and closer to our Summer sale, which begins on July 15th! Our re-merchandising left the store looking in top shape as we began to pull out some pre-Fall styles as well. I must say, the color palette for the pre-Fall pieces is gorgeous! Finally, one of the larger tasks that we tackled was inventory. Inventory is taken once a quarter and requires a good amount of prep work. Earlier in the week, a few girls were able to re-tag the entire store. My job, then, was to pre-count a lot of the smaller items that we have multiples of in back stock. This included belts, umbrellas, scarves, ties, jewelry, etc. If I pre-count these items, it makes everyone's job much easier when the final count is taken. After a few busy days this week, I feel good about the amount of work I was able to accomplish and feel that I helped prepare us for a big day at the store. Now that inventory is completely taken care of, the next adventure will be our Summer sale! Make sure you stop in to find some great Nicole Miller pieces at a great price!
