Layout Changes

It seems more often than not we are changing the layout of the store. It is one of the most difficult tasks we get assigned to do and they seem to be happening at a much faster rate. We recently had an inventory/audit to make sure all of our merchandise and stock on hand is accurate. After this two day long audit, we got instructions for one of our biggest layout changes to date. The main floor of the store completely switched sides and our floor (women's) was switched around a bit as well. Layout changes always take the longest because we have to improve standard as we are moving items around. If you have never been inside a UNIQLO store you probably do not understand what I mean. But as shown in the photo below we have a very strict standard for how we fold our clothing.
Piles need to be a certain height and must be uniformly folded to perfection. Internally we have a ranking system as to how garments are folded, there are four levels to how a display table can look and you always want to have it be at the highest level. That is how we keep our standards high.
