The special amenities they offer to their customers.  What is their customer service philosophy

UNIQLO takes customer service very seriously. We think of shopping at Uniqlo to be an experience so we go above and beyond to honor the customer's wishes to make sure they are completely satisfied. We make sure they are aware of all sale's and special promotions we offer at the time, and employee's are even quizzed at random by supervisors to name promotion items from memory to ensure we know of all promotions going on. Sales associates also give out customer feedback cards to customers wherever they are in the store. The feedback card asks about the different aspects of their experience while shopping, while in the fitting room, while buying items, and while they get alterations. There is also an option for customers to hand write their own feedback and their email if they want an e-newsletter. We take those feedback cards and copy all of the information into our intranet which then gets sent to the Uniqlo corporate offices for their use.

I mentioned that the feedback card asks how the service was when getting their alterations, that is one of our popular special amenities that we offer to customers. For any uniqlo brand pants over $20 We offer free normal stitch alterations so they fit perfectly as well as pants under $20 with a $5 fee. We have an entire team devoted to alterations as we get many customers that want this done. The process includes the fitting room host pinning the customer's pants where they want them hemmed and then the alterations team gives a time for pick up when they can come retrieve their pants. We more recently offered hemming pants into shorts for customers.



To make shopping easier, we also offer mini sizing charts so customer's know what size to look for in bottoms and tops according to our sizing. Associates are also quizzed on this so we know it by heart and can help customer's efficiently.

Another really special amenity we offer to customer's is our apps. Uniqlo has a standard app for online shopping and store locating but we are known as a lifewear brand and holding true to that we actually have a series of life tool apps that are really cool. HairDo, Recipe, Wake up and Virtual camera are all of the additional apps.




There are also many subtle customer service techniques that we are trained to practice for our customer's some based off of the Japanese cultural guidelines. Buzzfeed actually made a list called
