I didn't have much time to explore the city this week with work and heading down to Philly this past Saturday for my friend's birthday, but I did get to show my friend from Charleston around on Friday afternoon/night (my supervisor let me off work at 3, I am thankful that Galore is so flexible).
While writing for Galore was very easy and fun the first couple weeks, I seem to be running out of things to write about/ not having time to brainstorm ideas during the week because I am so busy. Thankfully, my boss helps out by sending pop culture tidbits to me throughout the day.
Unfortunately, the days at Michael Kors seem to drag out a bit. We don't seem to be very busy in the shoe department since I started, and most of my day is spent making copies, photographing past shoes, or organizing/cleaning. I am hoping that the workload will pick up and that I will be more busy and also be assigned more meaningful tasks.
New York is certainly starting to feel like home, as when I went to Philly this weekend it felt a little funny. It was nice that everyone was excited to see me though. I will be going to Philly again this weekend to help out with Sorority recruitment. Me and my roommate, Olivia, will be leaving on Friday. I'm excited to have a somewhat more relaxing weekend, and looking forward to getting through the week. Monday's really are the worst.
This city really does never sleep! We are like an old married couple since we go to bed at 9:00pm and then wake up at 6:00am to go to the gym. I still haven't been to Baked by Melissa so we'll have to go soon. I think Michael Kors is going to get busier once the Holiday's start and such. I agree that Friday could not come sooner. I'm very excited to go back to Philly for recruitment and to be back on Drexel's campus. I've missed everyone so much.
