Shoes of Prey Event

Working events is one of the highlights of PR and last night was no different. One of L&Co’s clients is called Shoes of Prey, and it is a company that allows you to customize every part of your shoes. On their online site you can customize the type of material, the color for each individual part of the shoe, the heel height, the straps, extra embellishments and more. It’s a site that I could play on for hours and the prices actually aren’t outrageous. Last night we had an event where editors came and got to design their own pair of shoes as well as enjoy some catering and conversation. It was a really awesome event to work because it was so interactive. I got to help editors use the ipad app that SoP has at their pop up shops which recently opened at five different Nordstrom’s and loved getting to talk to them about their style preferences and all the great things SoP has to offer. (One awesome perk is their remake policy!)
I also got to wear a premade pair of SoP shoes which were magenta with gold heels! Then I caught the bus and got home around 11:30 pm. However, I have found that when you love what you do, the commute and the hours lose their importance.

See below a pair of shoes I’ve designed (but am waiting for some income to purchase):

  1. The shoes you created are so cute! It is awesome that they have this in Nordstroms as well. I also agree that when you love what you are doing, the hours of commuting do not seem as relevant!
